As reported by Sports Radio 610 last Sunday, the Houston Cougars are thick in the mix for the transfer of former Texas A&M quarterback Kyle Allen, who confirmed to 247sports.com he’s had several talks with the Coogs.
Allen told the recruiting website: “Colorado State, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Houston are the four I talk to the most,” Allen said. “I don’t want to call them my top four, but I’m going to look harder at the schools talking to me the most.”
Allen also said that since the current dead period in recruiting prohibits contact and visiting the Houston campus and facilities, he is, “trying to talk to players and coaches as much as possible to get to know those schools. That’s the best I can do and it’s fine.”
